Ultrasone PRO 900 vs AKG K550 vs Shure SRH940 vs Beyerdynamic DT 880
Hi and thank you. May i ask, which would suit an office environment and train commute best? I'm sharing space with a handful of other phd students. I've previously owned the Srh940 but didn't keep them due to finances!- tonym

Which one for under £200...?
OK. Want to stick with 'established' brands and have inflated my budget. So, buying new: Etymotic ER4P Shure SE 425 (not sure how much I'd get these for) Westone 2 True-Fit Klipsch X10 UE Triple Fi 10 any other 'names'? Which would you go for? I like detail and can live...- tonym

out of touch for a while: Best IEMs for under £100 please
Hi. Sold my Shure SE530 and now I'm needing a cheaper replacement. I like Etys but their range has expanded since I owned the ER6i long ago. There are so many new brands around. I can get a good deal on some Logitech UE700 but I've heard stories about build/customer service. What about the...- tonym

Alessandro.
Hi. Any UK (or even EU) members have any experience buying directly from them? I'm aware I may be liable for customs charges. Just wanted to know if there's anything else I should be aware of. Cheers.- tonym

UE Superfi 5 pricing
Hi all. Is £35 for a pair these new a good price? There's an online store doing them at this and i wasn't sure if you're getting an IEM of Ety HF5 quality for a lot less £££. Ta.- tonym

UE SuperFi 5vi or Etymotic HF5 or....?
Hi all. I've recently sold on my Shure SE 530 to free up some cash. I love them yet can't help feel the ipod and 320kbps combination isn't doing them justice. I need some sub £100 IEMs for library work and commuting. Also ones that are robust enough not to warrant kid-gloves everytime i take...- tonym

Klipsch X10: Worth the extra money?
Interesting... I would tend to wear mine whilst stationary; either seated in the library for long periods, in bed or in cafés reading. Not much walking around or cycling, as I prefer to hear what's going on around me. Are they really bass heavy, or just in comparison to the ER6i?- tonym

Klipsch X10: Worth the extra money?
HI. Due to limited availability of secondhand IEMs in the UK, I'm tempted to buy new. I had some Ety ER6i and although I was pleased with the sound quality, never really found them 'comfortable'...more 'bearable'. Is it worth the extra £ for the Klipsch in terms of SQ and comfort. I like...- tonym

Jacqueline du Pre Fans - Bargain Box Set!!
It's a good set, I bought it last November. As far as the music goes -- it's sublime, especially the trios with Zuckerman and Barenboim; of course, the Elgar and Dvorak concertos are present and as magnificent as ever. SQ wise, don't be expecting the absolute pinnacle of what is available, but... -
What's wrong with Naim..?
How about this one: Not mine.......unfortunately I love my set up, ideal at the moment for a small room. I had the new Supernait on loan over Christmas and while it was good, I think an upgrade to CD5X would be better. I'm planning that in this year -- then 122x/150x combo. My Grados...- tonym
