    Sennheiser Momentum vs. PSB M4U1

They are, I believe that quoted comment was before the 2.0 came out.

    Sennheiser Momentum vs. PSB M4U1

The M4U1 have great treble. Definitely better than that of the momentum. Can't go into much detail though as it's been over a year since I compared them. I kept the M4U1.

6.5" Coaxial Speakers under $60 (for pair) (Making a boombox!)

Hi all, I'm looking to create my own bluetooth boombox, and I  really need and would appreciate recommendations for loudspeakers to use, as I have never really ventured into the market of loudspeaker units. I'll be using a bluetooth 4.0 amp that has 2X 50W output, and I will be powering it with...

    Sennheiser Momentum vs. PSB M4U1

Curious what you decide on from your thread. I was a bit disappointed to see the momentum 2.0 come out to actually fit over ear after I'm stuck with my decision. I think the psb will still have better clarity, but assuming the momentum 2.0 follows a similar sound signature, they will probably...

Comfortable, flexible cable upgrade Shure se425?

you may have also not been able to see it, as the one on my fiio cable is near invisible. I would reccomend trying another upgrade cable such as the fiio one, and then try replicating the memory wire if you find it uncomfortable. You can also buy some faux leather for very cheap and wrap that...

Comfortable, flexible cable upgrade Shure se425?

Oh ok. Is you stock cable comfortable? Did your occ have a thin layer of shrink over it? Mine has a very thin clear one that helps keep the cable in a curved shape for ear hooks without being too stiff, not sure if yours did.

Comfortable, flexible cable upgrade Shure se425?

Really, yours didn't come with memory wire? My stock cable had it. I personally didn't care for the memory wire as it still could get uncomfortable (just not as soon), but it made it much harder to insert the earpieces as you have to unbend them, wait for the foam to fully form in, and carefully...

Comfortable, flexible cable upgrade Shure se425?

Well you could get another silver plated copper and just use your make-shift skills to add some softer padding around the ear hooks. I have a pair of se215 and I use a fiio upgrade cable for them, which can start to hurt after long sessions. Using some heat shrink around it or something else to...

    Shure SE425 Mic Cable

SHURE thing! :P Let me know what you get and how it works out. Also, I reccomend transferring those little gold washers on the stock cable to you new cable if it doesn't come with any. It may help keep them from cutting out.

Comfortable, flexible cable upgrade Shure se425?

Which shure model do you have, and which occ cable did you try? Adding a little heat shrink around the ear hook may make it a little better, or wrap it in faux leather.

    Need some office IEMs, $100-150

This. The se215 have some good detail at their price, they just don't seperate it or focus on it so much. The EPH100 are not extremely detailed either, yet that have pretty respectable soundstage and separation. I have not tested the Titan to compare, but I can say that there are many other...

    Inexpensive, quality aux cable

Hi, I'm looking to replace the stock cable for my PSB M4U1 with a better quality cable, but I'm not looking to spend on an extreme upgrade cable that is "sure to improve sound". I am hoping you guys can help reccomend a better quality cable than the stock cable that may or may not improve sound...

    Need some office IEMs, $100-150

As long as you're responsible, probably not too much, but the fluctuations in pressure with no let out can damage your ear drum

    Need some office IEMs, $100-150

Both versions come with foam and silicone tips. It's mostly harder to remove them and put them back in if 1. You are using form tips 2. You are using the stock cable. They're great, I won't deny, but if OP is sensative to pressure, the se215 are probably one of the worst choices, and they can...

Low Profile IEMs for Small Ears?

Hopefully this helps for visualization. A softer cable without the forming hooks makes a better fit easier.

Low Profile IEMs for Small Ears?

The shure are similarly shaped, but longer and get narrower where they enter the ear

Low Profile IEMs for Small Ears?

Smaller, not really, but it's hard to tell, especially as ear shape can change how they fit. They do however offer better noise isolation than sleeping plugs (36+db) and better sound. Its hard to tell for sure if they will fit right.

    Need some office IEMs, $100-150

Don't get the shures if your ears are sensitive to pressure like you said. In fact, they can be pretty bad for your ears as the driver is sealed so that you have a sealed chamber into your ear canal, with no let out for air, which results in fluctuating pressure. Also they are not easy to...

Low Profile IEMs for Small Ears?

Shure se215 are very low profile, as they are made to fit flush in your ears, though I know that they may stick out for some people since ears are so unique. The se215 also offer very good passive noise isolation and have ear hooks so they will stay put pretty well. Sound quality is still pretty...

    Best $150 IEMs for Bassheads?

I agree with all that was just said, that the way some of us see things as bassy may differ from others, and some of us may see quality over quantity sometimes still resulting in us concludinrg that a pair is bassy because it delivers solid, clean bass. It's hard for the OP to demo for iem's as...

    PSB M4U1 - Thoughts?

Cool, I was considering a tube amp too as it would make a cool little desk piece as well. And yeah, a good quality amp can only make improvements, but at the same time, in my case the return is still little. The amp doesn't change much about how these headphones sound, which is exactly what you...

    PSB M4U1 - Thoughts?

I pulled the trigger on an Amazon warehouse deal on a fiio e11k. Despite the description of possible cosmetic imperfections, the thing is in perfect condition, and more importantly it is absolutely perfect with my PSB M4U1. I wanted to get an amp before a better cable, and I'm so glad I did. The...
