According to Luke at Turbulent Labs, the exact measurement for press fitting a magnum driver is 45.6mm and a depth of 9mm. This should be the same for any grado driver as well. I find it easiest to get it to 45mm and hand sand to fit. Hope that helps :o

Update: Making progress...I can only hope they turn out half as good as the ones pictured here recently. Great job. Ps, these are my first attempts at making cups!

Not bad, easily the hardest of the three woods but has a distinct finger tone or vibration when you strike it. Also smells like cinnamon when you cut it :D Sands very well to a shiny finish.

According to the Innerfidelity Wall of Fame, seems he is suggesting the PX 100ii and 200ii share the same driver and prefers the HD 239,. He also says the 100ii now sounds better than the Grado sr60i too check it out http://www.innerfidelity.com/content/innerfidelitys-wall-fame-ear-pad-open

Nice build Hemi, like the cups. My wood guy just emailed me, the black limba boards he has that were used as crate material are exactly 1 1/8" thick so perfect for cups! Finally have a source for black limba!
