Looks like the Chinese saw this thread ! I bought my Pro 80 in 2013 for €80 and now they are €100 and higher !

I second this big time !   My kids go through earplug phones in no time and there are none for the same price which have remotely the same natural sound.

After buying the MH489 I also bought a Takstar Pro 80. The pro 80 is a great piece, I 've let some friend, who do professional audio mixing, use it in a live setting. One of them said it was way better then the €200 set he'd just bought and the other one wanted one. So I sold my Pro 80 because...

After one week of use, some impressions on the Pro 80:   First thing that caught my eye was the size, is 't small ! The earcups are small, the headband is small when not pulled out. I have to adjust the earcups till max to get it on my big head. Once it's on that head first thing I hear is...

I bought some velours HI2050 earpads together with the Pro 80 because I like the comfort they provide. Yesterday I'd put them on the phones and I couldn't believe the difference... all bass was gone with the velours earpads It suddenly were treblely headphones without any fundamental lows !  ...

On the build I can tell you this: better than the Beyerdynamic DT770 pro !

I just got my Pro 80 at DHL's and I plugged it into my iPhone. Played the song "Bridges in the Sky" by Dream Theater. The song begins with real deep throuth chanting and than fall into a massive guitarriff....   I really think you guys on here are incredibily hard to please ! These headphones...

I don't think it's stalling. China post is making problems over certain items. I ordered different things: aluminium nuts, headphones, clothes, air filter, li-ion Macbook battery and there have been problems with the battery, for being li-ion. China post refused it for being dangerous goods.

Yeah, small packages like the Takstar or Superlux velours earpads are no problem. My Somic had the discription "Childern's shoes" on it and nobody opened it. Well, can't have 'm all

Well, seems that China post refuses to send headphones overseas. They say it's something about the magnets. So the seller had to use DHL cause they were the only company willing to make the delivery.   I get the feeling it's getting harder all the time to get stuff send outside of China...

Did anyone else, from other countries than Belgium, had to pay customs clearance on a Takstar from China ?   DHL did the clearance and I had to pay an additional €18 ($25) to get these Takstars through customs. So untill now the total bill is €52 for the Takstar + shipping & €18 customs...

No they haven't screwed me, but someone on this thread told something about a similar shipping problem where the seller told him he had to pay an additional fee to have the phones shipped. So as a warned man I asked him about this and gave him the chance to be honest and tell me China post...

Yesterday I ordered the Takstar Pro 80 and seperate velours HI2050 earpads cause I want the comfort of velours. Now the waiting game begins...

Could anyone tell me if the Pro 80's are compareable with the Beyer DT70 when it comes to comfort ? Keep in mind that I will order the grey velours earpads at the same time !

  I recently ordered a laptop battery which was rejected by China post because Li-ion are classefied dangerous goods. He resent it through Sweden mail with no extra cost. But I would choose UPS for $8 any day !

 That Aliexpress in a different layout and the price is the same too.

For months have I been doubting to order the Pro 80 and I still can't decide.... now Biohazard comes in and says the 5500 is better.... doen't make things easier
