I just did the audiocheck test on my 3 days new dt990 600ohm. No rattle or noise, all test sound perfect.

E07k worked fine with previous iOS7.   iOS 7.1.1 was release 2 days ago.

Yup I did. I use mine E07K everyday. "other dacs" that works fine with CCK are NAD D3020 and the internal DAC in B&W mm1.

New Q701 owners here. Sound from direct plug to ipod classic is surprisingly good and neutral. I agree that it is lack of refinement and details of sound that powered by E07K or D3020. But It is good enough for listening music in late night.....

I dont believe I hit jackpot twice. I am continue the burn in progress on both pairs and see if the noise disappear later....
