Replacement cables for Audioquest Nighthawk (3.5mm to dual 2.5mm)
Does anyone know the best replacement cables for the Nighthawks or similar headphones? I know that other brands use the same type of cable as well but I'm not really sure which. They're just 3.5mm > dual 2.5mm. I was looking around but would prefer not to spend $300 on just a replacement cable...- Electro

Full-sized amp for Audioquest Nighthawk
Title kind of says it all. Just looking for a full sized amp for my Nighthawks. I would be willing to get a DAC as well, looking to spend a max of maybe 350-400 USD. I currently have an Audioquest Dragonfly as my DAC so something that pairs well with that might be nice, I would be willing to get...- Electro

Audioquest Nighthawk vs Sennheiser HD700
They have a dark frequency response because there is kind of a lack of treble to counteract the mid-range and bass. Darker than the average headphones I guess. I just purchased the Audioquest Nighthawk and an Audioquest Dragonfly DAC. I'm sure I will get a lot of enjoyment out of them...- Electro

Audioquest Nighthawk vs Sennheiser HD700
Well, I listen to all kinds of music, but I am used to, and prefer, a darker, bassier sound (V-MODA M-100s is what I'm used to currently, they're very dark and bassy) so it sounds like the Nighthawk would be more up my alley.- Electro

Audioquest Nighthawk vs Sennheiser HD700
Well, I don't believe sound quality to be ENTIRELY subjective. I can tell you that the sound quality on a pair of T1s is better than on a pair of Dre Beats, for example. lol Thanks though, it sounds like the nighthawk is more what I'm looking for.- Electro

Audioquest Nighthawk vs Sennheiser HD700
Yeah, I've heard that. Which do you think I would enjoy more for rock, alt rock and metal? I'm assuming the Nighthawk.- Electro

Audioquest Nighthawk vs Sennheiser HD700
I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but if anyone has experience with both headphones, which do you prefer and why? I am considering them both and can't really decide between the two.- Electro

Looking for cans under $500
No need for used, it appears they are well within my budget on Amazon. I'm not currently using a DAC, I was just using the amp with my V-MODAs because it was recommended to me by someone, was a cheap option and significantly improved the sound quality. I'd be happy with a recommendation for a...- Electro

IEMs under $125?
Hello Head-Fi! I'm looking for a portable pair of IEMs, they don't have to be amazing but I'd like the best quality I can get under $125. I currently have V-Moda Crossfade M100s but I'm tired of carrying them around everywhere. I also have Shure SE215s but they sound a little muddy. Any...- Electro

Headphones for Liquid Dubstep/D&B/House (electronic music)
Thanks. I've had a pair of ATH WS55. Wasn't too happy with their performance. The WS99's look very similar, so I'll probably pass on them. (earcups were way too small as well. What were they thinking when they made those?). Considering Pro900, but the M100's are out of the equation. Now I know...- Electro
