Help choosing LARGE earcup cans under 350$ for big head and ears
The large headed / big ear community seems to be sleeping, weird that there are 2k ppl on most of the time. I got two good tips for second hand pairs of Sennheisers but both don't allow testing before so it's money first no questions asked for: Sennheiser Over-Head HD 380 PRO - 90$...- reset

Help choosing LARGE earcup cans under 350$ for big head and ears
A DJ friend of mine gave me to test his pair of Technics RP-DH1200 that have round earpads. Their dimensions are: Outer diameter: 95mm Inner diameter: 52mm Depth 8-9mm (the cushions are way too soft, they can be inflated using some stuffing but at no use considering the small inner...- reset

Help choosing LARGE earcup cans under 350$ for big head and ears
No specific internal cup dimensions on the 550's (they seem roomie) and from what i understand they are not quite a bass head's wet dream, correct me if I am wrong. Will read/research more about it.- reset

Help with modding Pioneer HDJ-2000 for comfort
Going to sell them. Started a new thread with the quest of finding a bass head's delight with HUGE ear pads with at least 80 mm internal width (4.8 inches) here http://www.head-fi.org/t/666252/help-choosing-large-earcup-cans-under-350-for-big-head-and-ears No luck until now.- reset

Help choosing LARGE earcup cans under 350$ for big head and ears
Only way to get them is by ordering straight from the website so i can't test them if they fit. No details on the internal cup dimensions. I would buy something that allows 15-30 day return policy as most of the internet shops that are available in Romania. Comfort wise i think soft material...- reset

Help choosing LARGE earcup cans under 350$ for big head and ears
The amount of content is overwhelming on the forum, read a lot of guides but it is really hard to pin point the options when it comes to clear cup size dimensions, most of the reviews say they are comfy or roomier...but that's a subjective thing to say when the size numbers are not clear. ...- reset

Help with modding Pioneer HDJ-2000 for comfort
I'm more interested in closed phones because i don't want to get my wife angry at my music/movies/games. The design with the over band is perfect for my comfort tho. For now i gave up trying to mod them. They are just not designed for my big head/ears. I'm willing to sell the hdj-2000.- reset

Help with modding Pioneer HDJ-2000 for comfort
So between Shure HPAEC840 and the Shure Velour Ear Pads SRH940, the softer ones will loose bass more? Damn it physics... why are you so mean? I want maximum comfort, but for a basshead those two don't mix i guess. If i can make the cans wearable i will make the bass extension mod suggested on...- reset

Help with modding Pioneer HDJ-2000 for comfort
Those Lawton's look great but the cost is 99$ + shipping + vats and i don't believe they will fit perfectly because of the size of the back circular elastic band, it will be too loose. Something that looks just right is Beyerdynamic EDT 700 ear pad's but i don't know how well they will fit...- reset

Help with modding Pioneer HDJ-2000 for comfort
Got a friend of mine to buy them from Italy last year they wore on sale. Found something like this http://www.thomann.de/gb/sony_mdr7506_ohrpolster.htm but i dont know if they fit the cups well. Doesn't specify the sizes, most sites don't not even the manufactures.- reset

Help with modding Pioneer HDJ-2000 for comfort
Thank you for the response. I thought that stretching the head band with my hands was enough to make the steel from the headband to be more loose. I did some measurements to try and find out where the problem number wise: Distance between my ears is 19 centimeters(7.48 inches), earlobe is...- reset

Help with modding Pioneer HDJ-2000 for comfort
Hello, a few months ago i bought a pair of Pioneer HDJ-2000, huge upgrade from my worn out 5 year Pioneer SE-M290 in terms of sound quality but, the comfort is horrible for me. I have a larger than average head, larger than average ears otherwise i don't understand how others find these...- reset
