I'm more interested in closed phones because i don't want to get my wife angry at my music/movies/games. The design with the over band is perfect for my comfort tho.
For now i gave up trying to mod them. They are just not designed for my big head/ears.
I'm willing to sell the hdj-2000.

Started a new thread with the quest of finding a bass head's delight with HUGE ear pads with at least 80 mm internal width (4.8 inches) here
