I'm interested in reading a comparison of HE 500 and Beyer dt990 in bass and soundstage. Can anyone give some input on this ?

Cheapest solution would be xonar dg or dgx(enable amp and switch to highest gain in settings). I found them significantly better that way.

Hi there, im playing around a bit with equalization to bring those mids a bit forward and tame the highs. Got some advice to tweak them a bit better ?    

Can anyone point me in direction of headphones with following characteristics:   - similar soundstage and bass like dt 990 (or with more quality, not more impact) - a bit less harsh highs and a bit more balanced mids
