Why get her budget headphones for Mommas day

Sennheiser Momentum.

Sennheiser Momentum are the best closed headphones. Buy them used like new off seller adgtron on Amazon. They will run you about $240. No box will be included but all the accessories are and you can't beat the Momentums at that price.

But those Grados SR80i only cost $99, why would someone make fun of the cost of those when others are dropping $200-$400 on Beats

I am also in the same predicament but I am leaning towards the Momentum. I can get them for around $250

Update:   I'm very happy with the sound and quality. I wish they didn't stick out so much but I'm used to it now.  I found a lack of bass in my hip hop music, but then again I'm coming in from owning Beats.   I did have one song where the bass was quite impressive so maybe its my music.

When will your reviews of the new Denon line be up?

Yeah I tried it out but I don't know how to mess with the settings. I also couldn't revert the settings back to default so they're all messed up. I also have to use the app as my primary music player in order to notice the change and I rather just keep using the default iPhone music app.

I'll be using my new Denon AH-D600's from my iPhone 5. Anything I should know or do I just plug and play?   I'm too used to Beats I'm not sure if these headphones require more.    Thanks in advance.

Thanks everyone I think I will be very content. The only things I'm concerned about are the clamping force not being strong enough and the headphones being too big. Otherwise I think I made a good but, beats mixrs went back to best buy. Good riddance

I usually see people here saying the V-Moda M-100's are a "fun" headphone and not much better than Beats.   The Denon's have so many mixed reviews    I find that a lot of headphones here also do, though

I'm not an audiophile at all and currently own a pair of Beats that are going back to Best Buy tonight. I just purchased a pair of Denon AH-600's because I think they look very nice and since I will be working in an office soon I feel Beats are too childish for me.    I see many mixed...

I just stumbled upon the V-Moda M-100's. Do they sound as good as they look?   I'm looking at these or the Bose QC 15's. I really wish Best Buy carried the V-Moda's as I have a lot of store credit. 

Can be $200-300 give or take I don't mind.    I mainly listen to Hip Hop, Rap, and Pop. So good bass is a plus. I have a pair of Beats Mixrs and while I think they sound great I am going into a career soon and I am getting older. I don't see myself wearing these around the office and I still...
