15 yr. old hea- fier here. Very much into the midrange gear. I started the hobby when I was 13. I only decided to join rather recently. From ue 600 to 700, rockit r50, Jvc fx500 etc. I am an iem guy hoping to meet some more people within the same age bracket with the same hobbies.

Thanks for the help ljokerl. I think the R-50 would do best. I like the sound sig of the Xcited but I think I can live with less bass. Btw, will you do a review of the vc1000?
