Would the Syn be able to output Quadraphonic to a 70's Marantz 4400 Quadraphonic receiver? I've wanted to listen to the quad mixes of pink Floyd for so long but had no way to do it besides cheap garbage 5.1 cards. This is the first one that looks promising and schiit quality.

It looks like you replaced the cord on your Pioneer SE-700. Did yours have shorts all over in it as well? I have to keep twisting mine in certain spots to get the sound back in one or the other ear or one goes half volume etc and not move at all, it is very irritating but they are so wonderful...

I picked up a Pioneer SA-6800 amp yesterday and matching tuner. This is the most lively amp I've heard and I was surpised how light and narrow it is/was but looks great from the front. The fluorometer is certainly unique. Neat little amp indeed. Now to find a 9800... (he-he)

K712 with my Pioneer SX-1050. They really come to life on this monster. I'm enjoying this K712 as much as my LCD-3. 

I saw this too and wondered why it wasnt gone. The last one I saw on CL was $1,000. 

It was their TOTL. It's got two indicator lights above the power switch to indicate both amps are on. I like the way it looks too but the 430-930 I think is their best looking receivers. If you ever find their early 80's receivers HK490i and HK795i those were good too and they have a neat style.
