Quote: Theyre quality control is terrible but i had a pair of 720's that lasted me forever. Its a safer bet to go with the astro's if you're going to play roughly 200$. i just through the trittons in as a slightly cheaper option- Shankster

Quote: Well knowing your budget would help but from my own experience ID say stay away from the 380 pro and the 429's they sound incredibly cheap to me. Look into Shure, grado, and akg as it would appear you are already looking at sennheiser.- Shankster

Quote: Id say some used m50's from Ebay would do you good. I'd stay away from AKG's as the few I've heard are a little bass lacking. Generaly if you can swap out the cable on a headset you can simply put in another one with the mic and such, Otherwise I believe audio technica has some...- Shankster

i myself am 16 but from my limited experience I'd advise you to stay away from the sennheiser 280's. At the stores i've tried them at they sounded....cheap.- Shankster

Hello, I have been on the prowl for a decent headset to buy that I can use for travel (don't need to be collapsible). I'd prefer if they were closed back. I currently own and AKG k240 mk II as my main headset at home. I'd like to find something of equal or greater quality I'm currently hunting...- Shankster
