Hey guys Shanky here again, I've run into a snag while looking to get my little brother headphones,(price-range 200$ max)
as I'm a rich dark sound guy I've had very little experience with high treble high mid and little bass headphones(ive been thinking maybe grados but as i cant test any in my area it would be hard to tell if they'd comfortable on him), are there any specific brands that have this specific sound signature or any specific headphones for it, he listens to swing (yeah like 20's music) frank Sinatra, rock, and electronica mostly, hes already decided against the ath-m50 and the v moda's i showed him as he felt the bass was to strong, he'd prefer they be over ear or on ear, style doesn't really matter him and neither does sound isolation or leakage( but id prefer it to be closed back if possible) I've got no problem buying used so if you have any ideas please throw me a line.

Soundmagic HP100 or HP150. Very slightly elevated bass and treble. Less bass than M50, but otherwise better bass, mids, and treble SQ with better soundstage and imagingThe HP150 is the new version which appears to have the same sound, but different aesthetics, cable, and case. Here are some reviews of the HP100:

Excellent all around headphone for someone that its into more of a neutral sound. Check out the frequency response:
