Why do we assume that our ears are the only receptors to sound. Other parts of the body may accept higher frequencies and process them for the brain. Back to double bling crossover studies of a reasonable statistical sample if you want to get anywhere near the truth and remove selling hype!

Most of what i read here sounds very much like tge story of the kings clothes. I doubt any person can discriminate sound to such a degree. Time guys to do some double blind crossover studies with neutral monitoring. I doubt this will get anyones support.

So i gather from the thread that the answer to the question is a resounding " NO". Most people will not want to walk around with headsets and some other fancy box to process signals to get the same effect as a standard two speaker system.

I would also like an experienced and professional opinion to this question. Tyler, do you have any views. It seems to me that the answer is in the realms of the Kings clothes! I have n ver experienced a frontal image using headphones. Has anyone?

Cowon D3 I believe meets those requirement.

Cowon produce very good players at more affordable prices. Their sound quality is superb through B&W P3 and NAD HP 50 headphones.

NAD HP 50's are worth considering.

Both Cayin and Aune produce excellent amps, well engineered, great sound and reasonably priced.

Try the NAD HP 50. I don't think you would be disappointed

I use a T1 in conjunction with a Cayin A50T driving monitor audio BX5s. Sound is sublime. Certainly didn't break the bank and the tube amplifier is great. Never need to turn the volume control over 50%. Hope this helps.

Anyone any experience with tube rolling for the Cayin A50T amp. I am looking for a sweeter treble.
