for awhile i had a hard on for energy drinks mixed w/ vodka--but after a dui and some full blast bar brawls... i put 2&2 together .took me awhile to figure out it was turning me into a raving maniac....oh well.... lesson learned.

heya,           Jvc hafx-3x are awesome. one drawback-they need about 250-300 hours of burn in.after that ,they are bang for buck champions.

i dont know if anyone covered this -but the jvc hafx-3x need an enormous amount of burn in. im talking 300 hours to perform at theyre very best.true story! non-believers of burn in,may i present to you the magnificent jvc hafx-3x (after 300 hours) if Dsnut took another shot at these after burn...

yes! yes! yes! imho everyone should have an amp.i have several and they are addicting-just like headphones.there are very few headphones that dont sound better w/ an amp.of course if your source has one built in like a mac book pro-thats a different story.i seriously doubt you will ever regret...

hey,       you can use that trick with most headphones. almost always gives the bass a kick. i learned about that right here on GS.you are in the right place if you want to learn about headphones.not including me there are some really smart people that hang out here. enjoy!

hey,        try putting some cotton balls in the lip of the pad. stuff them under the velour between the lip and the mesh. should work.all the way around-if you dont have cotton balls roll up a paper towel and stuff it in the lip.

hey,            Hifimediy has a sabre dac that i own and it works great.it has also been well reviewed in the forums.

         will someone please hook these things up to a decent amp.i think they would really benefit from one.i am going to withhold judgement until someone plugs an e11 or some other portable amp into these.i too am a big mp fan and have a hard time believing they dropped the ball on these.
