Been away for a while, finally setup my rig again. Using Fostex HPA8 + Mapletree OD300 (power amp) with Fostex TH900. Tubes are Tung-Sol 6AS7G and Tung-Sol 6SU7GTY Black Glass. Anyone using your TH900 with tube amps? Any suggestion for tubes that would go well? Thinking of getting a 6080 or 5998.

Dear HPA8 users,    Have you experienced the TH900 with tube amps? What do you gain or lose vs the HPA8?

I noticed that there are quite a number of tube amps that use el84 output tubes (ear+, cs300, taboo, etc...), how do they compare against the 6080 based tube amps (wa2, wa22, crack, teton)? Is it possible to tell how an amp would sound based on the output the used?

Anyone?

-30db to -28db for onboard USB DAC -24db to -22db for Vinyl   Any higher will cause fatigue during extended listening.
