Campfire - Solaris
Great, I'll have a look into it. A high price isn't a big issue, I'm reasonably happy going up to about £900, perhaps a bit more. Thanks again.- odevans

Thanks for your reply, David. DX120 looks good, especially the cheap price. The only issue is the lack of wifi. I'm here, there and everywhere at the moment, so being able to download from the web is high on the priority list. I suppose if it came down to it, I could download onto my phone then...- odevans

Just posted this in the wrong thread... mornings aren't a good time. Any small-ish DAP recommendations for this? Likel getting a DX200, but I'd rather something smaller.- odevans

Any recommendations on a reasonably small DAP which pairs well with the Solaris? Looking at getting a dx200, but it's pretty damned big.- odevans

On a separate note, though I'm looking at re-purchasing a DX200, I cannot shake the memory that it was quite bulky to walk around with. Can anyone recommend a smaller DAP which doesn't exceed, say, £1000 or so?- odevans

Had a browse through your previous posts, you say the LCD-4 is "Just a bit better" than the Solaris? I was concerned that I'd be missing out on too much by not re-purchasing an LCD-X after it was stolen, but I'm feeling a little more reassured that I'll be happy with just re-purchasing an IEM...- odevans

Really like this setup. Is it still going just as well? Any tips sparkle your interest more? Any change in frequency? Any future changes you intend to make? Apologies for the Spanish inquisition.- odevans

Audio kit stolen, advice on replacements needed
Hey guys, My family home was broken into last week, had my LCD-X, Andromeda, iBasso dx200, Schiit Mjolnir and a few aftermarket cables stolen (as well as other unrelated tech). Pretty bad. It's going through my house insurance at the moment, fingers crossed on a reasonable payout. If I'm lucky...- odevans

Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova
I had some ear canal tips made and they're great. I actually use the same volume for both indoor and outdoor/travelling listening. Extremely clear, open with good bass. Edit: Though I can imagine full iem bring superior.- odevans

DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***
I wouldn't say it sounds thick, nor would I say that it sounds thin, far from either in fact. To me, it is crystal clear with the right amount of base(which definitely isn't lacking) - as the music should be... To my ears, through my andro and lcd-x, at least.- odevans

Paul, Any chance of us getting a fully rotating OS? All docking stations that I can find have the USB port at the bottom, meaning the DAP would be upside down. Unless of course you guys are going to produce your own station. Very happy with the new firmware so far. Haven't tried the stripped...- odevans

I keep getting, "The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device... Mae sure that it is designed for a x64 based system" I'm using win10 x64, so I've gone for the win8x64 driver, which should work, right? Likelihood that I'm being a tool - 99%. ...- odevans

I kind of feel that considering you could purchase 3 dx200 daps to one ak380, one sd slot compared two isn't that bad, especially considering the capacity of sd cards. Do most folk really need in excess of 200gb of music at any one time? I certainly don't. Just a gentle reminder: DX200 - £750...- odevans

Audeze LCD-X
So when I received my Andromeda, I said that I may sell my X: This was after a couple of months of it being broken, plus the month for it to be repaired, a good three months of not hearing it. Well. I was wrong. So god darned wrong. Combined with the comfort of the newly applied micro suede...- odevans
