Looking for a new earphone
I guess I'm looking for neutral sound. Cause I haven't experience a lot of of earphone, so I'm not sure what I'm looking for. But since I feel Monster MD is too aggressive and IE8 is too mellow, I think I'm looking for a neutral sound signature. Need to find a day to hop in a earphone...- solaregg

Looking for a new earphone
Sorry for making the confusing. I think Monster MD and IE8 are two different extreme. The one I'm currently using, SE115, is a pretty good in-between, but just need a better sound quality.- solaregg

Looking for a new earphone
Thanks for the suggestions Quote: Which model do you suggest? Is SE425 good for Jazz? I have SE115 but it fails on high when I listen to Miles Davis' CDs. Quote: I have tried my friend's IE8. It feels like a bit airy. Is it what people call large...- solaregg

does an amplifier work well eith an ipod nano 6th gen and the aduio technicia ath-m50s?
I'm always thinking if it's a good idea got get a portable amp/dac to make my rig less portable. iPod nano is pretty small, but a "portable" amp is bigger than your source. Just throwing some thoughts. no offence. :-|- solaregg

Monster RMA service is pretty good tho.
The warranty is limited life time warranty. I think you can only get a limited times for a new product.- solaregg

Monster RMA service is pretty good tho.
The left ear dead. I put my iPod in my back pocket of my jeans and was walking and listening to my music. It dead in a sudden. I'm guessing it was the cable caused it. The line-control and right ear were working properly. Just the left ear dead.- solaregg

Monster RMA service is pretty good tho.
Hahaha, they didn't pay me anything, but the very first email I got from them really took a while. Here's the email to proof. There's about a week gap is because I was busy on moving. Didn't have time to ship my earphone. Minus that week. I got everything nailed in about 2 weeks...- solaregg

Monster RMA service is pretty good tho.
I have heard that Monster's RMA service is really bad, but it's not my case. I actually had a pretty good experience with them. Maybe it's because I'm dealing with Monster Canada? My Monster Miles Davis Trumpet was broken, left ear dead. I emailed Monster for inquiring RMA. It took about a...- solaregg
