Would you be interested in a portable source that has no built-in headphone amp?
What about a screenless, or even bottonless DAP? Controlled via smartphones using bluetooth or NFC, while songs are still stored in the player. so we can play anything without taking out the whole enormous rig.- 276539

Android phones and USB DACs
Quote: Thanks for the explanation. Resetting the tablet doesn't fix the problem, I guess it is because the DAC upsample everything to 32bit and the tablet doesn't support it. Is there anywhere I could find the older version of USB AR which allows me to adjust the bit rate for testing?- 276539

Android phones and USB DACs
I've just got my HP-A3 from fostex and tried to use it with my android tablet, which works with other USB DACs before using USB AR. It works; however, sound comes out from A3 is weird. Songs played were like in another tone. And I couldn't adjust the bit rate using the USB AR now. Have anyone...- 276539

Headstage Arrow HE: Reviews, Impressions, Perceptions & Sensations
Headstage is a good match with most Senns products, (perhaps it is because they are both from Germany ;-) ) especially IE80 and IE800 I personally recommend those who haven't tried these combinations to try it out.- 276539

PCStep Appreciation, Impressions and Comparisons thread.
Mine had just arrived yesterday It took really long but I found it is worth the long wait. It is my first Corda product and is really a good bargain. As I don't really want to type a loooooong review, I will only talk about what are the most and the least appreciative points. Pros...- 276539

Toxic Cables - Impressions and Discussion Thread
Yes, it does, there are some special DACs made specifically for iproducts, like sony PHA-1, Fostex HPP1. Frank has already built some nice lightning cables and posted it somewhere else in HeadFi, but those were not right angle, that why I am asking here- 276539

Toxic Cables - Impressions and Discussion Thread
Forgive me if it has already been discussed, almost 200 pages is too much for me. Is there a right angle to right angle, lightning-USB type A cable available? I have been searching in HeadFi and some other sites and simply couldn't find one worldwide. I want to connect my DAC with the new ipt5...- 276539

Mine is on the way, tho it was shipped a week ago. After reading this thread, I can't wait to listen to it Have anyone tested how long it can work? I just simply don't want to bring an extra battery with me, considering it is a 9V giant.- 276539

Android phones and USB DACs
My asus slider, which shares the same kernel of asus TF101, works great with USB Audio Pro. BTW, are they going to make the user interface for the app? UI like poweramp's will be perfect- 276539

Personal impression of some Flac playing app on iOS
I currently shifted from Android to Apple's product (ipod touch 5), and cannot miss the UI of poweramp more. There are quite a lot of music player apps, but only a few of them play FLAC. Moreover, most of them are full of bugs, slow and user unfriendly. Is there any user friendly app...- 276539
