Has anyone tried the Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro for FPS gaming? How does it compare to the DT 770-80?

I'm looking for a list of headphones that provide the most isolation.   Two that I know of: HD280  32db DT770M 35db   Are there any others that do better or close to it?   Also, would switching out the velour earpads to the pleathers ones on my dt770-80 provide the same isolation?

Although I wish the wing system were like the old ones in terms of firmer support, the new ones aren't bad after a few minutes of sitting on my head.

Just received my A900X. I noticed the head wings don't fit the same as the AD700. The A900X feels a bit looser (worse for me, more likely to fall off if I tilt my head). Does anyone notice the same?

Is there a successor?

Are these discontinued? The product title for Amazon says they are.

I'm curious to know what headphones or headset you're currently using for PC gaming.   I'm using the AD700 and sometimes the DT770-80.

dolby headphone comes off as a gimmick to me. closing my eyes while listening to sounds in-game, sounds still sounded either left or right with headphones (AD700 + Xonar DG).

What myth? Pleather used on earpads is nearly always the low grade stuff and will eventually flake or crack.

can you review the sennheiser hd419 and hd439?

I thought they were like a japanese Amazon, but I guess not.

Does sennheiser have a closed version of their HD 555, 558, 595, or 598 headphones? I know there's the PC 350 headset, but is there anything else?
