Hi, I'm looking for recommendations or options for closed headphones with the most, if not all, of the following criteria:

- Closed
- Around the ear
- Strongly prefer velour or real leather or fabric earpads (and headband). No pleather; it flakes.
- Good for low to moderate volume listening.

Not so important but would still like it to have:
- A balanced sound (bass, midrange, treble).
- Detailed sound
- Decent soundstage

- Budget is less than $300.

I have the Beyerdynamic DT770-80. My only complaints are the pleather headband and the bass can be overwhelming sometimes.

I mostly play first-person shooters.

You might not have much luck finding a closed-back headphone with decent soundstage.

I currently have the ATH-A900X, and those have a decent soundstage for a closed-back headphone. Their market price has dropped drastically recently, you could probably pick one up for about $150 or less. Definitely gives the DT770 and 880 a run for its money.

If you're open to open-back headphones, the Sennheiser HD 598 would be a good choice, right up around $250 on Amazon.
