I want to know the size of the SHURE factory tips - not the comply tips.

Looking to get some comply tips, trying to figure out what size I need. I use the middle sized tips that came with the headphones... Anyone have exact measurements?

I was there close to closing time and couldn't find anyone to help me. I think I'll go back tomorrow during the day and ask if they'll remove the headphones from the demo unit thing.    I'm guess that they have things cranked up to sound impressive to people who are mostly ignorant about hifi.

Good info. I'd rather EQ the bass down a little than EQ it up and muddy the other registers.

Here's a story.   I've been using a pair of Sony MDREX38IP for a few years now. I'm on my third pair. First went through the washing machine, second got the wires ripped out, and the third is in my pocket. These aren't great, or expensive. 40 bucks at best buy w/ the iPhone controls on them...

This cable is .189 inches (4.8006mm)    Would the 1/8th inch (3.5mm) techflex fit over this? That sounds stupid; but I know that braided stuff like that can expand a little bit. Anyone have experience with this?      Thanks, AA
