Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
I bought my TF10 from amazon.com almost a year ago-- and it works perfectly to this day. In fact, I buy most of my audio gear from amazon and I have never encountered an issue. Quote:- ITCW

I finally got the pads off. Turns out, they easily come off when I squeeze the inner web part as I pull. Quote:- ITCW

I tried tugging the ear pads pretty hard and they still won't come off. Is there a specific area I should be grabbing? Quote:- ITCW

Music Fidelity V-Link
Thanks for the reply, Bloodoath. It seems some people say jitter will introduce distortion and artifacts that affect sound, while others say jitter won't have audible effects. Anyone else have experience with the DacMagic and the V-Link, and whether the latter is worth getting to...- ITCW

Music Fidelity V-Link
Hello, I'm wondering if I should get a Music Fidelity V-Link USB to SPDIF Converter. My current set-up is this: PC---> DacMagic---> Woo Audio 3 tube amp (WA3)---> BeyerDynamic T1 Headphones The DacMagic is connected to my PC via a USB cable. I've read that it's not the...- ITCW

How many of you have ONE pair of headphones??
My only full-size headphone is a Beyerdynamic T1. I never thought I'd spent $1300 on a headphone, but I figured it would save me money in the long run. My thought was, if I buy a flagship, I would get rid of my "upgradeitis" and finally be "satisfied." Sure enough, it worked. Since then, I've...- ITCW

DacMagic to Speakers and Tube Amp?
Hi all, I'm planning on buying a Cambridge DacMagic for my PC setup. I currently have a Woo Audio WA3 OTL Amp connected to a Beyerdyanmic T1. I also have a pair of computer speakers that connects to my PC via a 3.5 mm jack. My question is-- is there a way I can connect both my tube...- ITCW

The Official Beyerdynamic T1 Impressions and Discussion Thread
Ok, thanks for clearing things up. Anyways, my T1 finally arrived last Thursday. Sounds and looks terrific. However I am kind of bummed that there are 2 big blotches of glue that are very visible on the cups. For a $1,300 headphone, I expected better craftsmanship. To add more insult...- ITCW

Thanks for the reply. Pulled the trigger and ordered a T1. Now, the real problem is justifying to my friends and family why I spent $1,300 on a pair of headphones! Last week, I told my roommate I spent $400 on my HD650 and he already thought I was crazy. You suggest my next upgrade should...- ITCW

The Official Beyerdynamic T1 Impressions and Discussion Thread
Hello all, My current set-up is a laptop with iTunes lossless files--> iBasso D4 DAC--> Woo Audio 3 OTL amp--> HD 650. But now, I'm itching to upgrade. Will a T1 sound good with my set-up? Or should I get a better DAC and/or amp first? Thanks.- ITCW

First Impressions of the new Beyerdynamic T70p
I'm seriously considering getting the T70p to replace my ATH M50's as my on-the-go/ office headphones. Has anyone heard them both and is the T70p a worthwhile upgrade? I listen to just about all genres of music, but particularly R&B. Thanks.- ITCW

iBasso D42 "Mamba" with dual dacs! !! Hey Hey! Improved Starting on Page 76 .
Hi, all... I just bought an iBasso D4 Mamba and I just want to make sure I understand how to use it. If I want to use it as a DAC/Amp combo, then I must connect the D4 to the computer via USB and connect my HD 650 into the "Headphone" out on the D4, right? But if I want to use the D4...- ITCW
