Looking for some recommendations of closed cans with good isolation for those with larger ears (and <$300). Don't have the option to easily demo headphones where I am. Looking for something to use commuting and for studying. Looking for a good all-arounder, and like I mentioned good isolation.

I'm looking for a case for a current generation ipod classic that can actually fit the 1/8" connector of my Earsonics SM3s.  They have a circle of plastic at the 90 degree bend that has forced me to cut out a hole in the softcase of my phone, however the classic came with a hardcase.  So far...

I have the SM3 V1 and they came with a large and small set of double flange tips.  The large one fit perfectly.  I wanted to get a few extra pairs, and only 1 universal size is now available, does anyone know if it is the same as the old large?
