In regards to clamping force, mine had quite the clamp on them when I got them.  Uncomfortable, even.  They've conformed to my head over time though.  I have absolutely no concern about them falling off and they've been more than tested in that regard.

They're great, right?!  It makes me happy to put them on my head every time I use them, as if the newness hasn't worn off at all.

The 7G hasn't introduced any compelling features that would make me want to jump from the 6G Nano.  It seems to me that anyone interested in having videos on the go would probably already have a phone that can do that, where they don't have to look at such a miniscule screen anyway.  Pointless...

I haven't heard the AKG, but the M-80 is a fantastic headphone with a huge portability factor.  It seems to be made to take quite the beating, I love mine and highly recommend it.  I really don't think there's more I could want from a portable can, all things considered.  Worst-case scenario...
