Has anyone here ever done a count on how many amps were never returned?

Who cares?   It's been 8 years since he fleeced so many.  I had heard a rumor a couple of years back that he was thinking about starting back up... but I suspect there would be so much litigation it wouldn't be worth it.  He fu cked up his own brand anyway.

Open it using UnRarX.  If you have a spare micro sd card you can copy it to that and upgrade from the car.

Has anyone noticed it being a bit more "bright"?  Upgraded from 1.5.0 to 1.6.0 and to me it sounds a bit harsh/bright.  Haven't given it a good listen though...

One of my engineering friends just completed a calibration course for televisions. $1500 class. One of the things they did was purchase a few new sets and pulled them out of the box. Needless to say none of them were even close. If you've got a blu-ray player I highly recommend the Joe Kane...
