Ended up with Bluebuds X. They sound close to the se-215's to me, similar sound stage.

I just tried the m50x and dt770 (80 ohm) at guitar center. The dt770 were way more comfortable but my iPhone had trouble powering them and even at max volume was relatively quiet. The m50x sounded pretty nice but were considerably less comfortable, especially the headband. Would the 32ohm...

Sounds like they may not be the best fit for me based on the preference of se-215's style of sound.    Would any of the DT770 models (16, 32, or 80 ohm) be better or worse than the M50X without an amp?

Haven't heard of them. How do they compare to the M50X and/or my current se-215 IEMs?

That does seem like a good deal, but from everything I've read if I'm going to get an M series headphone, the 50x will have much better overall sound vs 40x, right?

After researching online, the most commonly recommened BT IEMs are the Jaybird Bluebuds X with comply tips.  People say they have a V-shaped sound which, on paper, is similar to the se-215's.     Does anybody have any experience with both that can compare the sound quality between the two?

  The UE-900 cable has a mic, volume controls, and allows you to skip tracks, rewind etc.  It also has much better memory wire around the ears that seem to keep the cable in place much better.  Sound wise I don't remember noticing a difference, but they definitely stay around my ears better...

Is there any better option than just using some electrical tape to join the wire just below the microphone and volume control?

They sound pretty similar to me but I'm definitely not an expert. I love how they for around my ears. Just wish they had a slider thing. I guess the real test will be how they do at the gym and running.

Figured out left vs right. I also really like the way these fit around my ears vs the Shure memory wire. I think these have worse micro phonics towards the top of the wire by the mic when it rubs against my shirt. Still would like to hear any workaround on a neck slider adjuster.

They just came in. I'm disappointed to see they don't have a slider to get a tight fit when wearing like the stock Shure Cable did. How are you guys dealing with that? Also how do I know which cable is left vs right?

About to order these for my se215's.  Do they have the same or less microphonics than the stock shure cable?  Microphonics drive me nuts and want to make sure i'm not taking a step backwards in that department with these.   Thanks.

After doing more searching I found that some people are using the replacement cable for the UE900's which run $25.  I'm leaning towards those now even though they are blue instead of black.  Anything else better before I pull the trigger?

Guitar center by me says they have the m50 and 750dj in stock. They don't have them on display so I will have to open boxes with sales guy. What other models should I try that they may have in store? M50 best for 100-110? Anything between 100-160 that is better or worth the extra 50-60 bucks?
