Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread
Yea, they were the stock foam tips. But you have a good point. The opening is smaller than the other tips. I've just switched em, and I swear it sounds even better now. Good call! I liked how the foam ones fit though. They felt more snug. But I'm pretty sure they congest the soundstage.....- Tracon

Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread
My IE80's just arrived. I unboxed them, put on the foam tips, fit was 100%. For two weeks now I had a song set aside as my first song to play and the sound was so great it brought a tear to my eye... Worth the money and worth the wait.- Tracon

Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread
Eh, I got tired of researching the same information over and over. I own a pair of Sennheiser IE7's, love the warm sound. Just hit the complete order button on Amazon. I'm not a Basshead but I feel like the IE80's warm deep dark open sound signature may be best for me over the bright crisp...- Tracon

New Guy Needs IEM's
IE7's arrived today. First Impressions: some of the most clever product packaging I've seen. At first the sound just did not impress, but I am finding with every listen they become exponentially better. Glad I made the purchase. Thanks Head-Fi.- Tracon

New Guy Needs IEM's
Hi guys. My Sennheiser IE7 IEM's left the seller facility today and is in transit to the farm. If everything goes well they will be here by lunch time on Wednesday, otherwise, it could be as late as next Monday. Either way, I will have plenty to say about them. More later.- Tracon

New Guy Needs IEM's
IE7's should arrive Wednesday the 9th if everything goes as planned.. Then I must consider purchasing a FiiO e7 amp for them, and a LOD. And then I must work my way to true Audiophilism and begin saving for AT HOME STEREO HEADPHONES! Yeaaa.... These IEM's aren't even here yet and they are...- Tracon

New Guy Needs IEM's
The CC51's are probably a great choice, but after doing a little more research I am willing to pay 140 dollars... I understand the AH-C710's have great lows, good mids, acceptable highs. Treble could use work. Great build quality too. I hear no completely negative revviews, though I am...- Tracon

I am very close to buying the Denon AH-C710's for 139 bucks off Amazon. I know they will be a huge improvement over any headphones I used to own, especially my skull candy. Opinions?- Tracon

The CC51P's might be the way to go for me, and at only 90 dollars, that leaves me with $60 from my IEM budget I can put towards some at-home professional headphones. How are these for weight? Dervish D can you let me know when your review is up?- Tracon

New Guy Needs IEM's
Those Meelec CC51P's would be perfect for my ipod touch, and at a price under 80 bucks it would allow me to save for some "real" heaphones. Does anybody else have any experience with this model? Does the P variant with ipod controls come at a cost of audio quality? I am told most ipod...- Tracon

It's hard for me to say because I am interested in such a wide variety of music; justin timberlake, eminem, lou reed, george harrison. Strong clear vocals and smooth bass rumbles interest me too.- Tracon
