Since HifiM8 is a DAC/AMP. What is the reason people use Ak120 which the DAC/AMP?   Wouldn't you use a cheapo storage DAP combined with the HIFI M8? Since the DAC and AMP on the source becomes superfluous.

I've compared flac and mp3 , both sources have crackle in the sound. At the same spot. However in CD, I don't notice any. is this a common thing with mp3 and flac? using earphones, it's hard to hear it. But with a car stereo which amplifies the sound, it's more noticeable.

i was looking around for the westone um3x.apparently there's no cables for iphone???on www.earphonesolutions.com they sell it with the audiotecnica MP100, which is an adapter for iphone. But doesn't that mean the cable will be extremely long!???
