SE535 or Westone 4?
I use the SE535s and chose them due to the replaceable cable and the ability to change to a cable that has remote and mic for iphone for only $50. The sound is great and found the headstage amp improved them a bit but not enough to justify carrying around an amp all day.- 07eclipsegt

Shure SE535: Reviews and First Impressions Thread
I was using straight out of iPhone and iPod and found they sound great. Tried a Fiio E7 and was a slight improvement. Ended up returning Fiio and buying a Arrow 3g. Can't wait to see how they sound on the Arrow.- 07eclipsegt

Cable options for Shure 535's?
I am waiting for the cable to arrive to me still. Like the 535s. Also looking to see if I can find a similar cable for the 1964 quads. I like the volume and skip function on the cable. So far only option I have found it $200 which I think it high for a cable.- 07eclipsegt

Cable options for Shure 535's?
You could try the media cable for using with your iPhone. I have one on order but will be a few days till it arrives still. It looks to have a smaller connector and no memory wire over the ears. ...- 07eclipsegt

Feedback on portable amp upgrade
I have been looking at the the E9i and just use my iPhone or iPod for listening at home when using headphones. I am finding when using my laptop or Mini I usually use Airplay with my Denon amp. I like the ability even at home to just pick up and move to another room or outside if I want without...- 07eclipsegt

Feedback on portable amp upgrade
I recently getting into better headphones and picked up a Fiio E7 with LOD for iPod and am finding it is a little improvement over the HP out. I found the same with my Macbook pro when using it as a DAC. I use Shure SRH-840 and SE535 headphones. I am in the process of ordering a set of 1964ears...- 07eclipsegt

Question about the Fiio E7. Can I get some answers please?
Interesting. I found there was a slight difference for me when using Shure SRH-840 or SE535s with my Macbook pro or using a LOD with iPod Classic vs the normal headphone jack on either. I am finding that if this is the difference with a $100 amp then I am hoping that a Arrow 4g would be even...- 07eclipsegt

Are the 1964 Ears Quads the Best Customs for 500.00-600.00
I am in the same boat. I am trying to decide if I get a custom sleeve done for my Shure SE535 or just go for the 1964 triples or quad. I would like to get something with a little more sub bass but I do like my 535s. I am curious if you would be able to lie on the side of your head with the 1964s...- 07eclipsegt

I am new to IEMs so what is the best IEM for my needs
Hello all, I am new to IEM's at least those on a better quality scale. For headphones have been using Apple in ears and Shure SRH840 for the last year but now that I am changing my library to lossless I would like to experience better quality. I listen to classic rock, 80's and some...- 07eclipsegt

Shure SE535: Reviews and First Impressions Thread
I am going to have to get out and listen to these if I can find them locally. I have been looking for something to upgrade to from my Apple In ears and my SRH840s are just to heavy and bulky to pack around. I haven't been able to find a pair of IEMs that I like the sound from yet.- 07eclipsegt
