This or that? SR60i or MS1
Quote: Okay thanks a lot. I think I'm gonna go for Alessandro for $99. Oh, does Alessandro provide warranty? Let's say the item is damaged upon receiving it, will they resend another MS-1 if I post it back to them?- MarcusP

Hm, $15 is like RM50. It's really out of my budget. Maybe I should just take the chance, since USPS is quite a trust able courier company. EDIT: Does Grado Labs offer international shipping as well?- MarcusP

"Yes. Free shipping via USPS Airmail, or $15.00 for shipping via USPS Priority Mail which is recommended and trackable." Sent a mail to Alessandro. Is it recommendable to get priority mail?- MarcusP

Are you sure it's free shipping? The headphone shop here is selling it at RM470+ which is about $150. And the guy is selling the Alessandro MS1 for RM200 which is about.. $65 with 3 weeks personal warranty. Go for it?- MarcusP

What's the difference between Alessandro MS1 and MS1i? Yeah I'm actually leaning towards ms1. I'm not planning to get an amp though, will it drive itself well enough? Now he's offering $65 for just the headphones, $80 for bowl pad and... casing.- MarcusP

This or that? SR60i or MS1
I've came to a decision that I'll buy either the SR60i or Alessandro MS1. Though, there are two sellers. A week old SR60i for $80 or A 2 and a half year old MS1 for $80 I will get a week warranty for the sr60i Still discussing with the seller for the personal warranty...- MarcusP

Let's say I provide the silver cable to a headphone shop. Do you think they can recable it for me? Or is DIY easier- MarcusP

So you reckon I should purchase the SR60i's and a cheap IEMs? Or should I just get a good IEM and forget about Grados.- MarcusP

SR60-Mod
Yea I agree, but the thing is I wanna bring it around uni and maybe use it while studying in the library. If I put it at middle volume with Grado SR60i and an iPhone as my source, will there be sound leakage? Or maybe I should get a cheap IEM for those quiet environments.- MarcusP

SR60-Mod
Well the only problem is, I like to get lost in my music. So if I put it at low volume, external noises will be distracting,. What are the ways to reduce sound leakage? This is interesting. I'm thinking of getting a Grado SR60i or maybe Hippo Shroom or Pearl. One really open and well...- MarcusP

Interesting. Will any of these mods prevent less noise from escaping? I like everything about the SR60i, only just that it's open headphones.. I can't use it in libraries.- MarcusP

AD700 / GR 60i...Worth it?
Why not try PX 200 ii? I heard it's less bassy than the PX 100 ii. I've tried the PX 200 ii and it's really comfortable for an on ears phone.- MarcusP

Getting a gift for my sister
Okay I've tried a few just now. The PX200-II is really great, comfortable, sq is good, and it's really portable. just that the price tag is out of my budget. So, I'm most probably gonna purchase the PX100 for my sister at RM290 which is around..$95? Is the price ok? Or should I get it from...- MarcusP

Fully Circumaural - Confused between Koss/Sennheiser/Rest
Apparently, it's highly recommended to get an amp to bring out the sound for HPs. That's why I might be considering IEMs. Going to the HP store tomorrow to check some out.- MarcusP

Getting a gift for my sister
Hm, so I'm considering iGrado, PX200 II for my sister.. How about Maxell DHP-11? For me, m50, sr60i, Alessandro MS1, Goldring 150, Koss UR55 or maybe one of the hippo iem. If there's any problems you know about these headphones. Please do tell me, i'll drop them out of the list. Thanks- MarcusP

New lower-end Denon headphones (AH-D301, AH-D501, AH-D1100) announced
I have the Denon AH-D501. It's alright, it gets pretty warm after hours of listening.. I don't know how to say it.. but.. when i play alternatives/rock songs, the guitar sounds really high pitched.. pretty piercing in my opinion.. the bass is alright, the isolation is average..- MarcusP
