It was a pleasant selling experience. There were some issues with the amp but in the end, the problem was fixed and settled amicably. We both ended up happy seller and buyer.- hngszehong

Selling a perfect working condition Stax SRM-007t with 6S4A and CCS modified. The electrolytic capacitors were also changed. The exterior of the amplifier is quite beaten up, hence the low price. Please kindly refrain from buying if you mind about the exterior condition as it is quite worn out...- hngszehong

Portable Headphone Amp for AKG K-240 MKII
Indeed all you need is a headphone amp (either accepting RCA directly or 3.5mm doesn't matter), since you can always buy a RCA to 3.5mm cable to connect to the 3.5mm input accepted by most of the cheaper headamps.- hngszehong

Beyerdynamic T1
Wondering the T1s sound if they are compared to, say the DT880s? They are having the same nature or the T1s are completely different type of headphones? Any comparisons or does any one here mind to share some experiences?- hngszehong

The Stax thread (New)
I'm new to this forum and recently bought a used Stax 2020 basic system. I'm planning to use laptop as my source, through Centrance DACport and connects to the SRM-212 and SR-202. My question is whether the DACport serves as a sufficient source for the Stax or a better source is needed to make...- hngszehong

Driving DT990 600ohm
I have to turn it almost 60-70% of the volume knob to get sufficient volume, and i started to feel it sounds a little bit congestion over the music i played. Maybe I could be wrong because i basically didn't spend enough time on it yet. So you think the Centrance Dacport is completely fine to...- hngszehong

Grado SR225i and Fiio E7+E9
I guess it is wiser to spend more on the headphone upgrade rather than the amp for now. The SR225i will benefit little from amp/dac upgrade for the money you spent for a more decent dac/amp system. IMO, i would say upgrade ur phone to a RS2i/RS1i first, the equal money you spent, will definately...- hngszehong

Driving DT990 600ohm
Is there any recommendations of amp/dac or hybrid pairing good with the DT880 600ohm? Was using a Centrance Dacport alone from the laptop but it seems to be lacking some dynamic or power.- hngszehong
