Hey guys. Is there any way that I can change my username on here? I would love to do that. Thanks!

Quality of Bose Headphones 700, but without ANC?

Hey guys! I'm looking for some bluetooth over the ear headphones that have great quality (balanced. I don't want overpowered bass or anything). But I saw that the Sony WH-1000XM3 and the Bose Headphones 700, their main selling point is the excellent active noise cancellation they have. But...

    New Sennheiser Momentum In ear

I got them about a week ago, and this is what I think so far:   - They're very comfortable. No complaints here. - They're certainly fun to listen to, but the sound is definitely V-shaped. - Bass and treble are awesome. Bass is not too boomy and the trebles are sparkly enough but not...

    New Sennheiser Momentum In ear

You're liking the CX5.00G so far? How do they sound? Are they comfortable?   And by the way, I just saw that you previously owned the EPH-100. I did too. How do you compare the sound of your Senns to the EPH-100? I really didn't like the trebles on the EPH-100, so I'm looking for...

    New Sennheiser Momentum In ear

Buyer beware.   Bad reviews on Amazon are coming in, and they're all due to the same reason:   RELIABILITY.   They break easily, and are not very durable. Even with gentile use.   Same thing as the VSonic GR07 BE. GREAT sound, poor reliability. Seems Sennheiser followed the same path on...

    Dunu DN-1000 - Dunu's hybrid IEM - Impressions thread

Yep. The Yamaha EPH-100s are the MOST COMFORTABLE IEMs I've used in my life. I sometimes forgot they were even there! I lost them though, and I was looking to replace them, since I didn't like the trebles on them that much.   But we'll see what people say on this thread. If anything, I'll...

    Dunu DN-1000 - Dunu's hybrid IEM - Impressions thread

I'm about to give up on these headphones.   I have tried every way possible to find a good fit. With and without the spacers. The spacers do improve things a bit, but my ears still hurt after a while of using them.   I'm wondering if getting some other eartips will help. Like the FX8 by JVC...

    Dunu DN-1000 - Dunu's hybrid IEM - Impressions thread

First impressions of these headphones:   - The sound quality is quite good. Nothing is too overpowering. It has a little bit more trebles than the EPH-100, but a bit less bass quantity too. I like the balance. - When you first put on them on, I could notice that they're very comfortable to...

EPH-100 with a bit more trebles?

I went for the Dunu DN-1000. I ordered them, so I have no idea how they sound.   Wish me luck. I'll come back with my impressions. Hopefully they sound as good as the UE TF10.

    Dunu DN-1000 - Dunu's hybrid IEM - Impressions thread

I've just ordered these headphones. I'm in a country that doesn't allow anything like shipping back to getting them fixed, or whatever.   Also, I have no way of trying them on before purchasing. So I always have to trust the internet when I'm ordering headphones.   Wish me luck! I'll come...

EPH-100 with a bit more trebles?

Hi all.   I'm looking for a pair of IEMs with a sound signature similar to the EPH-100s, but with a bit more treble. I had the EPH-100 before, but I lost them and I never actually like how the trebles sounded.   I've heard the VSonic GR07 are a good option, but they're not very durable...

    Comfortable UE Triplefi 10's?

Hi everyone!   One of these days I listened to the Ultimate Ears Triplefi 10's, and man oh man, I LOVE the sound on those babies! Everything, from lows to mids to highs. Some people find the high frequencies on those too harsh, but I personally fell in love with them.   The thing is, they're...

    MEElectronics M6 PRO Musician's In-Ear Monitors

Just bought them. And yes, they're on the bright side of the spectrum.   I wonder how much burn in they need for the highs to smooth out a bit. I'm hoping to get a significant change, because out of the box, I find the highs to be a little too harsh.   Linkin Park songs (I'll Be Gone, and By...

    EPH-100 replacement?

Hi guys.   I had the EPH-100, and while I love how they sound, I never really got used to the treble on them.   I'm looking for something similar (still IEMs for sure), but with the trebles being a little bit more sparkly. I liked the middles and the bass, isolation and all. Oh, and...

    MediaMonkey vs MusicBee

I used Winamp pretty often before. But when I heard the news that it would be discontinued, I looked for an alternative.   Something that had: 1) library 2) allowed you to search through your music library instantly 3) all this separated from your playlist 4) ability to refresh your...

    Yamaha EPH-100

Quote:   Quote:   I don't even know how to describe it to be honest with you. It's like a really high frequency... don't know much about frequency numbers, but that's all I can say. A higher frequency is missing on these headphones for my taste, and I could feel it the moment I...

    Yamaha EPH-100

DISCLAIMER: I don't consider myself an audiophile with that much experience, but I basically like sound the way it was originally created and recorded. No extreme anything. Just the right amount of everything. One more thing is that English is not my first language, so my vocabulary won't be...

Thanks for the answers guys.   There are also others around there, but I wanna hear more. We'll see.

A little more mids than the M50s, in the same price range? (Maybe $180)

Hey everyone.   I own the M50s (Audio Technica, for those who don't know lol), and I think they are great headphones.   Now, back in 2010 when they were $100, they were for sure the best headphones in the price range, no questions asked.   Now that they are a little more expensive...

What does impedance have to do with sound quality?

DISCLAIMER: I've looked at several threads here on the forum about what impedance is, and if I get a high impedance (100ohm+ or whatever) pair of headphones then I should get an amp, etc.   But I still don't get the point of looking at that.   What does it have to do with sound...

    colorful (girly....?) headphones under $70?

Hey guys.   I'm looking for a pair of headphones for one friend, and she likes colors and stuff. I was wondering if there is something like a colorful pair of headphones, that at the same time sound good.   I don't really want skullcandy, but if that's all there is, I'll take it, what...

    ATH-M50 Coiled or Straight Cable?

I got myself the straight version, and I'm happy with it, just because I can walk around my room with the headphones on without worrying about the cable being too short. I can always use something to tie them and make them shorter, I just like to walk around with them.
