The End-Game Solid State Amplifier Master List
I had a chance to audition it on multiple occasions and enjoyed it, as well. I think my personal tastes lean towards the clean and clinical. I've tried to enjoy more "coloured" amps but must admit that I prefer analytical amps, overall. If I want to change the sound, I rather EQ or just swap out...- smallcaps

Dan Clark Audio Stealth Review, Interview, Measurements
I've had pretty decent results with the Stealth and the ifi Gryphon. Xbass helps a lot with this combo and for a transportable setup it works great in a library or hotel room.- smallcaps

Dan Clark Audio Stealth Review, Interview, Measurements
I've owned the Stealth for a couple of months and can't get over how amazingly "neutral" it sounds to my ears. Don't get me wrong, I love musical headphones and enjoy my other cans, which include a modified HD580 that I've owned for over two decades now, as well as the VCs and recently obtained...- smallcaps

What is YOUR magic audio chain?
Lately, it's been the Blessing 3 and ifi Go Blu. In combination with double-flanged tips, I find this fixes the bass issues with the Blessing 3. It easily beats multi-thousand-dollar IEMs with this combo IMHO.- smallcaps

Help A Basehead Pick Out A New Pair Of Cans Please
Haven't heard them myself, but I read that the Drop + Ultrasone Signature X is made for bassheads. It also fits your budget with some change left over.- smallcaps

Reliable voltage converter for travel?
The devices you listed in the OP should have switching power supplies. Might want to check as you may not need a stepdown adapter, just a regular plug converter. Let me know if you're up for a beer when you're in SG. Happy to share my listening station!- smallcaps

ETA O2 headphone
Interested in hearing your impressions. Almost pulled the trigger on the Mini C until I learned that the O2 was on-ear. Was looking for a PX100 replacement and I'm not disappointed. I've been listening to more music on the O2 and it does almost everything better than the PX100, except for mids...- smallcaps

ETA O2 headphone
Just got my O2 a few days ago and it's been really great so far. Using it mostly for gaming but listening to a bit of music, too. For an on-ear it's pretty comfortable as it's cool on the head and light on the clamping force. Build-wise it's decent for 3D printing, but the headband and gimbal...- smallcaps

From the manual: This seems like an odd recommendation. Is this a typo or mistranslation? Or do they mean that one may use multiple headphones simultaneously?- smallcaps

The End-Game Solid State Amplifier Master List
Nice suggestion but it doesn't have analog inputs, which means it can't be used as a stand-alone amp, missing one of the criteria to be on the list. Looks like a pretty versatile unit tho. Maybe we need another list for end-game, all-in-one units?- smallcaps
