I know this is a old thread but I just have to express my opinion in a few words...high fidelity blue ray audio is plain crap the quality is just not there it's a real disappointment plus it's really hard to find 5.1 like it's almost impossible...over all it's just not worth checking out....

Your like myself you want to get the bass your looking for without spending the big bucks. Right now I have the logitech Z-5500 and I was about to replace the unit with suppose to be a step up the Z-906 after properly setting them up after the first song I heard I knew I made a mistake there...

There again I use foobar 2000 and it also does decoding plus the asus soundcard and my z-5500 so which does the work...So if I did go with a reciever again a reciever decodes so over all it's confusing. I was thinking on buying a better 5.1 but this means I'd have more used CP part hanging...
