I understand about starting up old threads but how do you find current threads seems there all old plus why do they keep old threads.....

Just because old threads are kept around so that people can research them does not mean we need to open them up and add to them. If I wanted to, I could find ways to add to hundreds of old threads. But that would annoy those of us who constantly monitor forum areas to try to help others and to join in new conversations.
