I use the CV181-Z in the input stage. Amp give more bass and sound is richer and more dynamic than with the stock tube. It was too "clean" for the 009 for my taste... The KT77 as output tubes, give life to the amp

I use the CV181-Z from Shuguang, and they draw the same current as the OEM 6SN7, but they sound better !! For the output tubes, I now use KT77 Gold Lion from Genalex. They are better too than the OEM EL34. EL34 are multipurpose tube and the KT77 are especially audio design tube...

I was using the T1 with an Audio GD Phoenix and he was too clean for me ! It lacked that little extra to make it alive !!   I now using a Eddie Current 2A3 with solid plate EML, which are much better. He is not so neutral as the Audio GD, but much more pleasant to hear :-)

I don't have the brightness problem with the 2A3 and HD800, because I use a Smyth Realiser A8. He correct the brightness of the HD800 !

I don't use the HD800 on other amp ! Only a bit on a Krell KSA-5 clone amp. The EC 2A3 is clearly superior. More of everything ! He can play really loud when needed, without shouting. On big orchestra, everything is on the right place, and don't move. I think that the 2A3 is a really well...

Little upgrade ! I replace the input tube from JAN CRC 5691 red base with a 6C8 plus adapter, and it's much better sounding now !   Here is some pics       Thanks to SleepyOne for the tip

Thanks for the informations ! I will try   My EML is break-in since a long time. I was first use it on a pair of monobloc Tektron amp...   I actualy break-in the amp itself and the input tube !

I just received the last 2A3 amp from Craig, with the new 40kHz AC heater supply !   Soud better than my previous 2A3 mono amp from Tektron. Much more quiet ! Very dynamic and open, a pleasure to listen :-)   I use EML 2A3 Solid plate and a JAN CRC 5691 input tube. Work well together...

I will give a try to Genalex Gold Lion KT77 and Sophia Princess 6SN7...
