So, I got the HD598s recently, and I am really enjoying them...other than one...fairly big aspect. They seem to be missing any bass what-so-ever. The mids and highs are great, but it seems like the bass is so quiet when it should lay down the beat/flow of a song. Now, don't get me wrong here...

Its just an idea. Its very likely they will stay connected to my PC 24/7. Its just an idea I had.

From what I saw both the onboard for the MB and the STX say "up to 600 OHm" so how do you know how low the MB impudence is? Okay, now, how will the MB do with say, 598s? I don't know if I'm understanding correctly. So someone is telling me that gigabyte made a MB with high audio quality in...

....So under that logic, a Asus Xonar STX is no use to me because its rater for UP TO 600 OHM?

Ought oh. I ordered it half an hour ago. Would it be worth it to cancel the order? I don't think I'll be utilizing any "gaming audio software" anyway. Its mostly for music. But having it all there gives led chance for driver issues (and gigabyte is very reputable). So overall I'm not complaining.

Thanks for actually looking at what you're comparing. So I take it this onboard is equal to a Hugh quality sound card? If some more people would co firm this I'll jump on it tonight.
