I recently purchased the Sennheiser HD 598s. I love the headphones, even when they are connected straight to my Galaxy S3. However I've heard you need an AMP and a DAC to truly experience these headphones.
Limit : $200
Music : Dubstep, Techno and (Stuff like Death cab For Cutie)
I would love it if I could find a portable solution that I can use with my U.S. Cellular Galaxy S3, and my future phone which will probably be the Galaxy S5.
But at the same time, I don't want to sacrifice audio quality, as I'll be on my computer 90% of the time.
Also, my school is now giving students Ipads....Any way I can satisfy that aswell?
The FiiO E17 looks good. If I didn't have to think about what I'd be missing from a $200 solution like the iBasso D42
