    Looking for good close-backs £150/$220 - £200/$300

I've made my mind up. I've wanted to try the Beyerdynamics for may years, and I'm gonna do it!   Then, once I get more money (God, studying in a nordic country is lucrative..) I will look into getting an open-backed headphone :) Then, an amp, and then some computer upgrades or maybe a new...

Looking for closed-back at $200-250 range.

Indeed, I didn't see the "needs to be approved" message, so I assumed my text got lost in the web :P I would love to delete the thread...

Okay so my list right now is: AKG K545 Soundmagic P150 Beyerdynamic DT-770   Again, budget going up to $300... I would just get the well-known FA-003 again, but I need a bit more warmth this time :)

And I'm still okay with it. Not only do I love heat, but all my favourite bands are there too!   Aaaaanyways.. Headphones! :P

I owned them for 4 years and I was 16 at the time. Add onto that, the fact that I was an exchange student (therefore interesting) in England... Yes, I am a person. And I'm okay with it.

Indeed. Many a girlfriend have gotten annoyed with them during hugs. Still worth it though

Ah, I think I see what you mean. I didn't realise what "wings" were until now.. I think while the loose fit has benefits, I should probably strike them off the list, as I could see myself getting annoyed with them. They might be fine, but it's not a risk worth taking.

    Looking for good close-backs £150/$220 - £200/$300

I'm quite fond of my Cowon, to be honest. I'll keep it in mind if I ever break it though :) I quite like the suggestion of the HP150's. And the list grows. I think the thing I'm most looking to upgrade from the FA-003 is a slightly better bass. They actually felt "too neutral" (Which feels...

    Looking for good close-backs £150/$220 - £200/$300

I will be using a Cowon C2 and my computer itself.. Which admittedly could use an upgrade sound-wise.. I need to look into that. I used to use a Fiio amp, but at the moment, I own no amps. Though I am not against the idea in the future when I gather more money :)   As for the Soundmagics...

    Looking for good close-backs £150/$220 - £200/$300

Not to worry - The headphones are primarily for home-use. And if I do bring them around with me, I tend to keep them around my neck or on my desk all day. (And if you know the FA-003, you'll know I'm used to bulky). All in all, I'm not really looking for something massively portable friendly...

I personally despise the way v-modas look - One may say that's irrelevant, but I'm vain like that. Thank you for the suggestion, though :)   Well, I'll certainly add them to the possibility list - They seem pretty nice :) Currently my list of possible choices looks like this: Audio...

Greetings! So like everyone here, I could use some help :) My Fischer Audio FA-003's (which I liked a ton) recently broke, and I am ready for something new and upgraded! It excites me to buy new equipment. I am looking for a headphone with these details:   Closed-back; I either have a...

Alright, so just like everyone else in this section, I could use some help :)   My Fischer Audio FA-003's recently broke (could be saved with some glue, perhaps, but I I am both clumsy and get excited over new equipment), and I need a replacement. Here's the details I'm looking for:    -...

1st Post, sorta kinda disappointed, request guidance.

I prefer headphones because of convenience, but also because it's something I can keep going with for hours, while I feel that I need to have full focus when I listen to speakers. That's probably a bit strange; I could imagine others thinking the exact opposite, but those are my 2 cents

Head-Fi and HDtracks (David Chesky) Collaborate to Assemble A Headphone System Test Album!

I've owned this album for a long time now and I just love it! I enjoy all of the actual music on the album, and the pure tests like Heartbeat and Percussion imaging are quite useful :) I'd love if Head-Fi could do something like this again! I need more music like this
