    Audeze SINE Series

Has anyone else had a "no cable" screen with the audeze plugged into an idevice running audeze app? My ipad plays music through it perfectly, but the audeze app doesn't seem to know the phones are plugged in. I cannot change eq, nor update firmware. Thanks Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    Audeze SINE Series

That is not to say that they sound bad with the cipher, they sound awesome actually! I just want to try to move away from iOS, and I would get a small portable dac/amp to plug into the usb slot from my Samsung to be able to do that. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    Audeze SINE Series

I have these with Samsung S7 and cipher (from iPad4). Overall experience is loads better with cipher (bass detail and clearity) than the Samsung. Volume wise, Samsung is at 80% for quiet-moderate listening in an office environment, but that's the same with most other earphones I have. Cipher is...

    Review: Sennheiser IE 800 earphones

Mine sound great out of my AK120. I wouldn't worry about balanced.   To those with microphonics issues, I agree totally, but I have found a shirt clip helps a lot. Mind you I only use mine at my desk at work which means I'm still when wearing them. If i was moving around and wanting to wear...

    The Astell & Kern AK120

My tracks play in order. Mind you I use the folder option on the home page then navigate to the artist-album-track.

    Just another LCD-x DAC/amp recommendation

I've got a pair if LCD-x cans, IE800 iems and an AK120. The IE800s sound great out of the AK120 but I feel as though a desktop DAC& combo would benefit the LCDs. Ideally I would like good clarity, instrument separation, soundstage and bass, though not overpowering. The short list is: Burson...

Amp/DAC for the LCD-X --- just to nail it, I already did my research

I am surprised no-one has mentioned the Yulong Audio DA8, the Audio GD NFB-27 or NFB-28 which are all combined DAC/amp setups. Are the Audio GD regarded as overkill (powerwise) for the LCD-X? Is the amp section of the DA8 not up to scratch of the conductor?

I find this extremely annoying as well... Track 01, Track 01, Track 02, Track 02, etc...

So it seems you need a PC with iriver installed to fix this library issue. I used the rebuild library database function in iriver and it's working much better now. Aif files still aren't correct in the library, but everything else is.

    The Astell & Kern AK120

I have used 32Gb of the internal 128Gb (Titan). I have made sure to empty the trash after deleting songs off it so that that space is freed up.

    The Astell & Kern AK120

So in trying to fix my DAC problem (previous page), I have created another. I can find music on the AK120 via the folder structure and play it, but the AK120 library doesn't know that there is any music when i tap on artists, albums, genres, or MSQ icons on the home page. Each one says There are...

    The Astell & Kern AK120

hmm... i varied it using the mac keyboard and watched the volume db change in audiomini, still with no sound. though i cant be sure i tried all bit and frequency settings with it at 100%. What should the bit/freq settings be on or does it not matter?

The speaker icon in audio devices is there, and next to the iriver dac listing in the output devices. I am using the iriver cable which came with the unit. I have also tried both USB ports.

    The Astell & Kern AK120

I have indeed selected "use this device for audio output" in audiomini. This has worked with a V-Dac in the past but not the AK120. I have a Macbook Air which only has two USB3 ports. This machine runs 10.9.2. I have fiddled around with the bit & freq settings in audio mini but i haven't tried...
