Is there anything that can be done for them? There's a pretty popular headphone repair shop in my city (Jay's headphone repair) and I'm thinking about sending them in. If it's not worth it/ not possible, then I guess I'll either stick with these or end up buying a new pair. 

I ordered them from a reputable ebay seller (proaudiomart) who basically ONLY sells headphones. 98% of the thousands of reviews that he has received were overwhelming positive. It even came in the original packaging! And I'm plugging them into my laptop/ipod. 

Stock apple earbuds and those $10 gumy ones haha. I was definitely not exposed to bass beforehand, that's for sure. And I've had them for like a year now so it should definitely be burnt in by now.

I can confirm that they're not fake.  I opened em up and the drivers look exactly like the real ones should. It feels pretty real too. However, there is practically no bass! Or at least, the bass is the complete opposite of what I expected. I dunno, it's very subtle to say the least. I've read...

Is there anywhere in New York that I can drop my ATH M50's to get fixed? There is DEFINITELY something wrong with the sound and if I fiddle with the jack enough it goes back to normal so I'm going to assume it's something wrong with that. However I have absolutely no experience with soldering...

Holy crap, just got em and I'm not even kidding, second I put them on and put on some music I could feel myself smiling cheesily. xD This is awesome! :P 

I have a small head so I'm not sure the clamping will be a problem. And hah, it's fine. :P We're all entitled to our opinions here. Still excited for them though - they're coming in 2 days ON MY BIRTHDAY as well. :D

Never owned a pair of good quality headphones in my LIFE. Haven't even listened to them. So I'm wondering if I'll experience something life changing or if it's something that's really subtle. Well...I'm 5'1". xD And that's true, even though literally all the headphones I've seen in my school are beats. :P
