Help me decide - DAP
Raketen, thanks for the feedback. I was just going to ask about DAP's like the M9, X5 Gen 3, and others for the playback streaming from wifi and over Bluetooth. If I had to go without offline mode, that's probable fine. So, are you saying that using Tidal with M9 etc.. is not favorable to say...- sabeking

Help me decide - DAP
I’ve been doing some research and the biggest issue I’m coming across is being able to listen to Tidal offline. The one DAP that appears to do everything I need is the Fiio M11. Anybody have any other options I should consider?- sabeking

Help me decide - DAP
I’m new here and new to the DAP world... in other words, I don’t own one and have only owned an iPod Classic 80G that was never used. So, point me in right direction for the following use case: Has to be able to stream Tidal from WiFi has to be able to play tidal songs offline for the car...- sabeking

First impressions: Stax SR-001 mk2
Good conversation going on here. Thanks for the ideas. If I want to get a different CD player (for bigger sound) and don't want to spend a ton of money; what should I look for? Used market is definitely preferred. Thanks, Stacey- sabeking

Tips for Stax SR-001?
I saw in another thread that someone had replaced the tips for their SR-001's. It may have been sony tips. Any recommendations for different tips for these headphones? Thanks, Stacey- sabeking

First impressions: Stax SR-001 mk2
I bought a set of Stax SR-001's from a fellow member here on head-fi. Although I have not got them in the proper setup, I do have some impressions and I am looking for others to comment on. First, they are extremely detailed. Information (instruments) are clearly identifiable and not...- sabeking

**Same old Question*** I need Stax help...
facelvega, Thanks, that definitely clears it up. So, it sounds to me as if I need a transformer model. I have an amp and preamp in mind to drive them. Suggestions on a combo that would be nice and affordable (around $300). Thanks, Stacey- sabeking

So, with some Stax systems, it sounds to me, you either use an adapter and an amp or an amp only. The amp will then act as an adapter. Sorry for the questions as I am still not clear on how this works with Stax systems. Thanks, Stacey- sabeking
