Mackie Big Knob Studio+ volume issues
I've been using the Studio+ for a few months with only one tiny issue which I'll mention in a minute. However, a bigger issue that just came up is for some reason, all of a sudden my right channel is louder than the left. I determined it was the Studio+ after checking with headphones and...- radmanhs

Large volume drop after running cans through preamp
Thats what I began to think. I was hoping it would have been completely passive if the volume knob was maxed, but apparently not -
Large volume drop after running cans through preamp
So I tried to have this kinda unnecessary setup so I just have to hit a couple buttons and switch between my turntable and dac as inputs, then my speakers, solid state headphone amp, and tube amp as outputs. And where I'm having trouble, a preamp to switch between the headphone amps and 2 sets...- radmanhs

Turntable or phono preamp buzz/hum
Right now I am trying to set up my turntable, but I can't seem to get rid of a hum with underlying buzz. The table I'm using is a Pro-ject debut III with an emotiva xps-1 phono preamp. The sound occurs whether or not the turntable is connected to the preamp and I have also tried connecting the...- radmanhs

Using multiple splitters in 1 system
I'm wondering if it's ok to use multiple passive/active switches in a row for multiple inputs/outputs. I have a turntable and DAC as inputs, then 2 headphone amps and a pair of speakers as outputs. I found the Mackie Big Knob Studio+, but I was wondering if there were any better options...- radmanhs

Looking for rca or xlr matrix
I have 2 input devices and 3 output devices and I am trying to find a matrix so I can easily switch between the inputs and outputs. However I can't seem to find one that would be appropriate for home use. It can be either a desktop unit or preferably a rack mount unit as I'm using a 2 post...- radmanhs

Issues with my Schiit
It's a pro-ject debut 3. The noise produced while the turntable was connected sounded more like static, similar the pops when playing vinyls. I'm letting my cousin take a look at it right now since he's a way more hardcore audiophile and has experience with vinyl. Just a waiting game now.- radmanhs

Issues with my Schiit
Even when I had the turntable attached, there were 2 tones, the same hum, along with other noise which I wanted to figure out later. I haven't really touched the setup in a week or so- radmanhs

Issues with my Schiit
I've done every possible mixture of solutions to solve the issue with the mani without any success. Down to running the mani and amp on a ups that wasn't plugged into the wall and it still produced the same tone. The previous owner said he didn't have any issues with it which is what's really...- radmanhs

Issues with my Schiit
@ScubaMan2017 I emailed him and he sent me a list of generic solutions, along wit the ones on their faq guides. Nothing worked, so I emailed him back but he hasn't responded yet, I'm assuming because of the weekend. So now I'm just waiting for his response to see if he can help or not.- radmanhs

Issues with my Schiit
I was recently given a Schiit mani, but no matter what I do the device produces a hiss. There is no turntable attached, just output. I have moved it around, changed the rca's and wall wart, isolated it to its own power conditioner, isolated it with the headphone amp I'm using to the same...- radmanhs

what paracord size for custom cable
I was thinking of making a cable for my hd650's with some mogami w2534 and I wanted to sleeve it with some nice paracord. I would have used mdpc-x sleeving (like techflex), but I heard plastic sleeving just causes trouble. I wasn't sure what the best weights to use for the main jacket and the...- radmanhs

I'm trying to find a pair of speakers to set up around my tv. The left side is kinda against a wall, but i tried to pull it as far away as I could to the right. My budget is 40-500 plus the receiver if I need one, I can spend a little more if it is a way better setup that way What are some...- radmanhs

Fostex t40rp question
I'm going to make a cable for my t40rp's because the stock 1/4 one literally died on me in 20 minutes of use. Therefore I'm going to just make my own cable, but I have 1 question regrading these headphones specifically. Will there be interference issues with the 3.5mm lock on the headphones...- radmanhs
