Yes, it is fine, but the Astron PS makes the Itube sound even better.

Looking for a better amp than IFI iCAN and iTUBE combo for Sennheiser HD650 and Hifiman 400

These are US made so you would probably have to call the company. It is the SL11A, here is the long list of power supplies that they make.   http://www.astroncorp.com/linear.shtml   This is who I called. Larry at Comart (800-777-2708)

To make the Itube sound about 100% better, get an Astron linear power supply set up for 9V. I paid $94 plus shipping and this makes the Itube sound killer now. Sonics is 10/10.

    Matrix Mini-i Pro Impressions?

I am not a can man so I have not tried the headphone section. I am using my mini-pro with Job 225 amp and Zellaton speakers. I have no complaints. I love the built of this unit, and the overall sound.

Amps that can drive the HiFiMan HE-6 planar headphones

I am using this TBI Millenia amp with a 12v battery, 25K reference speakers, and $5K Dac/Pre. With reference equipment, this amp is a stunner. It is one of the most holographic and transparent amp that I have owned in the last 40 years. I cannot say enough of this amp.

    April Music Eximus DP-1

The moongel drum pads are the best I tried. A friend and I tried over a dozen different brands. You can but these at Sweetwater Sound or Ebay for $6.95 with free shipping. They even sounded better than Racing Diamond and Stillpoints.

The Eximus beats the Lyr in the headphone amp on LCD2's, you will find that out when you get yours. I have tried them both.   One quick update on the gel pads if anyone is curious. I sent a set to a friend of mine and he brought out the moongel drum damper pads to compare. He hears that the...

I read today that at the CES show,Weiss has updated their 202 Dac to use the XMOS drivers reunning their USB port. That looks like the future in Dac technology.

When I say it beats those other Dacs, the Eximus has the most detail and soundstage while keeping the magic. I guess the new term today is organic, I am from the old school.   Since the headphone amp is so powerful and organic, it should work perfectly with the T1.

Well, for instance, the Antelope Zodiac Gold easily beats the W4S as one company at RMAF told me, and the Eximus beats the Zodiac Gold.   I believe it might be the new XMOS technology that might be making the difference. I know Ayre has a new one based off of this circuit, and I hear others...
