I replaced a much larger set-up with a Chord Hugo and have never looked back.  With the Hugo, I am hearing subtle details in my music collection that I have never heard before.

Got it!   Then based on what I've read, the Hugo or Hugo TT might be a better match for the TH900 with or without the Silver Dragon upgrade.

Why would the Ragnarok be counter productive paired with the TH900?

I too am considering recabling the TH900 with the Moon Audio Silver Dragon but was afraid it might be too bright.   Will likely use with either Chord Hugo or Schiit Yggdrasi / Schiit Ranarok combo.   Anyone have experience with the TH900 with Moon Silver Dragon?
