I think, as far as headphones go, they look good (I'm 17 and two of my friends own a pair except one recently broke partially). But I know there are better sounding ones out there, so screw it.

Well that certainly was an interesting argument to read. I don't think I'd ever want to strain to hear my bass, so it looks like I'm going to be purchasing the NE-7Ms. Now to just chill and wait for Skeptic to receive and burn his in.

Right now I have a pair of JVC HA-FX34 Marshmallows. I'm satisfied with them, but I'm looking to pick up a new/better pair. How much of a step up from the JVCs would the ER-6i be? Also, I know there are ER-6s. The 6i is described as "built for iPod" which is a bit of a deterrent for me...
