Audio Technica AT 705 Electrets NOS
Just saw this...5 months later. Yikes. Sorry. Thanks for the feedback. Trying to decide if I'm going to track down an adapter box, rig up mine own electret adapter box like you mentioned, or just hack them and put some standard gear in them. Love the look. Curious about the sound, but...- logantanner

AT-705 Electrets have to run off box or will some sort of 1/4" jack mod work?
I'm in the same boat. Bought the cans sans amp and trying to figure out if they are basically paperweights now.- logantanner

Audio Technica AT 705 Electrets NOS
Ok, finally looked at OPs photocopy of the manual. Got the box figured out. Wonder if I can work around it or find something universal.- logantanner

Audio Technica AT 705 Electrets NOS
Hey team, I just picked up a pair of these Audio-Technica AT-705s at the thrift store for $1.99, but they didn't come with the XLR converter box. Is that an amp or just a hookup converter? Can I simply snag an XLR to standard headphone converter and enjoy the sound (albeit unamped)?- logantanner

Are these the new Fiio e10?
Do you have any specific release info pertaining to that v3 e10? I'm about ready to drop for one, but would rather pick up the newest model if it's coming soon and similarly priced.- logantanner

NuFroce uDAC2 vs. Fiio E10
Did you ever get any feedback on this? I'm in the exact same situation. I feel like the NuForce is the better device and would probably do a better job connecting my PC to my home stereo when it's not at the office running off my MacBook. But is it $40 better? Just curious what you ended...- logantanner

[Review] Superlux HD661, Superlux Did It Again!
Just received my long awaited pair of these badboys and I have to say I'm SORELY disappointed. The clamping force and stupid "wings" are astronomically uncomfortable. I wear about a 7 /34 - 8 sized fitted hat and these do not fit my head. I'm really bummed. I did extensive research here on...- logantanner

HD 201 Mod.
If you're thinking of applying this vinyl to your HD201s, be warned that getting the inserts to fit back in perfectly with the overlap of the vinyl is CRAZY tricky and I almost threw myself out the window. Patience and minimizing the overlap as well as stretching the vinyl to conform as tightly...- logantanner
