This is about spot on, I'm new to all of this. Its not as "tubey" as you can get from what I hear, but just doing A/B testing you can still hear a difference which is good. I like the Jot on balanced cable for TV/Movies and all the dance music I listen to, as well as most rap. Any alternative...- litwick87

Wow glad I stumbled into here. I recently got back into audio gear since I got a new workspace at home. In the last few months I've purchased HD650s, Jot w/Dac and have a Valhalla 2 coming tomorrow... or today I suppose. I might have to make the drive out from the burbs for this.- litwick87

I listen to a lot of prog house, trance, deep house, techno etc on my HD650 which I recently got and love them for it. I use a Jot w/DAC module and they power them great and add a nice lower end. I have a pair of HD25ii that I DJ with and while they obviously have a little more punch to them...- litwick87

Schiit Valhalla Tube Rolling thread.
I recently got a Jot w/Dac and HD650, I also got in on the MassDrop Hifiman 4xx for my first planars.... was thinking about the Valhalla 2 down the line also. Let me know how you like it all if you go down a similar path.- litwick87
